Elections were held for the position of Bohemia Fire Department Chiefs on December 3, 2009 with Jeff Behounek running unopposed for Chief of the Bohemia Fire Department (3-12-30).  First Assistant Chief (3-12-31) is Richard Andersen and Mike Stankunis was elected as 2nd Assistant Chief (3-12-32) - Best wishes in your new positions as Chief's of the Bohemia Fire Department!

Election for Fire Commissioner was held December 9th 2009 with Frank Wilhelmy running unopposed for another term as Commissioner.  Good luck Frank!

The 2010 Fire Commissioners are: William Fagan, Ray Audett Jr., Roger Grace, Frank Nuzzo and Frank Wilhelmy.

Is Your House Number Visible?

1. To prevent a delay and confusion in an emergency, make sure that your house number is extremely visible day and night from the street
2. Your house number should be at least in 4 inch high reflective numbers, placed where they can be easily seen.  If your house is more than 40 feet from the curb, please locate numbers on your mailbox if it is by the curb, or on a tree close to the curb.  You could even mark the curb with your house number.
